Why cliches? It is best to learn “standard” English so that you will be able to communicate clearly with English speakers from different areas.
For instance, British English has different cliches than American English which can sometimes be confusing. As a matter of fact, people from different regions of the same country may use different cliches. People who do not have a good command of standard English can misuse cliches and cause confusion in what they are saying or writing.
Learn how to read and write standard English well so that you will be understood by a majority of English speakers.
